Yes, a legend. Yes, a legend who is a tryhard now. Yes, a legend who has become a joke to some people. Yes, a legend who has not been relevant in many years.

She has a catalogue that is "Immaculate" up to a certain point in time. Her trendyness gave way to being a follower and her image has suffered.

She will always get praise for what she has done, but she has opened herself up to derision.

I like her music from the 80s and 90s. My favorite song of hers is Borderline. After the early 2000s, she tried chasing the new sound, instead of creating it.

That being said, I don't look for her or keep up with what she's doing outside of something that may have made the news, so she may have put out a great song that I'm not aware of. She will always have her fans, but lost some fans along the way when they outgrew her and she did not grow along with them.

Also, not a superfan, but she's a force to be reckon with, she's a legend, she paved the way and has bops for days. 

Hard Candy is my fave album from her but her discog is one of the best. HC is still EVERYTHING 🔥🔥🔥💞💞

Also, she may not be the best singer but she is for sure one of the best dancers and performers the industry has ever seen and she's a creative genius and visionary. She gained my respect!

I grew up on Madonna...My first cassette tape was True Blue.

I've seen her in concert three times...Drowned World, Sticky & Sweet, and Rebel Heart.

She's exactly who I thought she'd turn into from an artistic perspective...Still grinding, and still trying to reinvent herself.

I suspect what might be causing all the hatred is the person that she's grown into...It's odd, but I feel as if I don't really know her anymore.
