Taylors Red listening party turns into a COVID mess

Hey, NSW is where I live. The Taylor Swift listening party has got nothing on the nightclub that has had 600-700 cases linked to it. One of the biggest super spreader events in the world this year 

While I think people should still be vigilant and stay safe, it’s not really the Swifties (or Taylor’s) fault. Our new ultra religious right wing state premier is obsessed with looking like a hero and won’t bring back any restrictions. However you can now be fined $5000aud (previously $1000) for breaching your isolation period. 

Personally, I’ll be keeping to myself until I see my family at Christmas. Not worth risking isolation over the holiday period for a listening party or a nightclub imo.

There are concerts being held in my country atm so like not surprising that somewhere this type of thing happens. Bad luck but at some point life has to continue. All the people attending should be aware of the risks of possibly getting covid so i hope theyre okay and prepared

Taylor isn't responsible for some fans denying the consequences of Covid

They just WANT her to hold accountable cause dragging Taylor is still popular to do

It is a frustrating thing from a PR perspective but it’s frustrating how this is connected to Taylor. It’s be more accurate to just say club rats who couldn’t make smart decisions caused an outbreak. It’s the truth without the click bait because it is automatically an opportunity for Taylor’s name to be dragged.

This really has nothing to do with Taylor. 

Vaccination rates here amongst the highest in the world. The death rate and hospitalisation rate are now pretty much non existent in NSW. We have to learn to live with it.

Honestly Taylor Swift fans are the worst. Acting like she’s the second coming of Jesus or something’

But her name doesn’t need to be attached to this. There was a bigger super spreader event  in NSW at a regular club but you don’t hear people/the media banging on about that.
