I don’t necessarily agree with this. Many times I’m sure you’re absolutely right however I know that showing their body is also empowering and confidence and for that I, as a young gay man, was thankful. It actually helped a lot of people (men and women) be comfortable and empowered to be them (and in today’s climate all body types are celebrated as they should be but being fit and slim shouldn’t be held as bad/slutty/try hard while we pat people on the back for being the opposite (though they should be complimented on being confident...all sizes). **** shouldn’t have to be behind closed doors. But there are limits I suppose haha.

Who said they chose a topless photo for the cover to be revolutionary? Can't they just pick it cause it's a pretty photo? Like you said, this isn't the 90s anymore. Women can pose topless and nude JUST FOR THE HECK OF IT. It don't need to be for the sake of art or for shock value or whatever. It could be one of those or any of those or none of those things. She could've chosen that cause she's just a slxt and that's okay too.

I agree with all of this, the last part especially. There's nothing wrong with being a s.lut. Honestly, I don't even think of it as a derogatory word.

It feels like (to me) that this is halfway done. 

It could look good tho.

Ugh Midnight Sky gave me so much hope that we might be getting something different, but she slipped right into boring, cliche, "look at me I'm edgy" bangerz era Miley.

 

I'm already over this era, she's just too try hard like the stupid cherry juice she used to ruin the Prisoner music video. Thank God Dua didn't do that dumb shyt too.

I don't have any problem with women exposing their nipples (i mean...i'm a Anna Nicole Smith stan), but for Miley , i feel like she's already done that countless times so it's not really interesting, she also seems quite confused with her direction, she contradicts herself every era. She used to trash the Bangers era during interviews, she said that it wasn't the real miley and now she does this  i don't know...Seems like she's still trying to find herself artistically.
