It appears Justin Tranter is no longer the executive producer of Britney's tenth studio album

Justin Tranter was executive producer of Britney Spears' tenth studio album, but it appears now that Lou Taylor has stepped down, he doesn't have any further involvement. Tranter has/had ties to Taylor. 

According to new court docs, there was a request made in 2019 to have different production. It's unclear if Britney personally made that request or not.

Via the court docs: "I'm wondering if you have been able to check into alternatives for the production on the next record album." 

Danja was working with Tranter at some point on B10, so it's unclear if his involvement is scrapped as well. 

In January, 2019, a source told Us Weekly: “[Britney] is looking forward to getting back in the studio and releasing that once it’s complete. She feels very comfortable working with Justin and loves his work.” You can read that original report here.

I know this was being discussed in this topic, but I wanted to create a separate one because this is a pretty huge deal. It means the sound of the album will change and also low-key confirms a tenth studio album was or IS in the works.

But that means she already recorded some songs with him... Can't she keep using them at some point in the future? And then just credit Tranter as the producer or co-producer and that's it. Am I missing something??

Thats great, Justin Tranter is very 2016 now anyway. The tracks he did for Rare by Selena Gomez were somewhat mediocre. If this e-mail means that Britney's wishes were being considered and she wanted to change, then thats a good thing. It means that, somehow, she had/has creative control over this project.

I’m blown away that an album was even being worked on in the first place. But I wonder what this all means. 
 

Did Britney even want to work with Tranter on Glory? Was she forced to, or was she only given a select few producers she could work with or what? Did she want to work with Tranter on B10, and Lou stopped it out of spite? Or was Tranter only working on B10 because it finally benefitted Lou and Britney had no choice? Does this mean Britney will have more creative control over her work now?

glad to hear that a 10th album is even being discussed. I enjoyed Glory a lot and i think she put her heart and soul into it but im ready for a pop/dance album that ******* BANGS. get back to her roots, and kill it. CALL MAX MARTIN.

Justin has a company and Lou is the director. Something around those lines.

I LOVE "Glory", but I know what you mean that he has a chill vibe. I read your comment and thought "Britney should just go and do a ROCK album", and then I saw this!

Imagine Britney's sweet voice with those guitars and drums... I'd love it.

Britney LOVED working with Julia Michaels and Justin Tranter in "Glory", it was definitely her decision, just like she wanted to work with will.i.am. (girl WHAT WERE YOU THINKING!)

Justin Tranter did a great job with Britney but if this takes what it takes to get Lou out of Britney's life than I'm perfectly fine with that.

Plenty of good producers out there.
