Omg, it kinda sounds like a Teenage Dream leftover. That and it’s vaguely Chainsmokers.  But I LOVE it!! Deffo Classic Katy, she didn’t flop, she’s always been just as good. You go, sis!

I didnt want her to fall when she was standing on the rocks in the video

I think I want to like this song because the lyrics is actually good compared to Witness era, but the production of the song can be better.

Other thing... Not trying to be rude, but it's kind of weird that her first single for this record, it's about her being pregnant. it's not a really strong choice for any artist. 

I know she's really worry about having other hit, and this is nothing like that. If I was her, I would probably be at home kissing my hot husband Mr. Bloon, and then I can really think about music.

I wish her success anyways!

Hmmm, so I’ve been pretty hard on Katy for a long time, but honestly I like this song. It’s definitely not enough to make me stan her again, but I actually think it’s probably her best single since dark horse.

Mmm.. I kinda agree. After listening to them both and thinking on it, I’ll say NRO is a better lead choice but I think Dasies has more replay value. Something about her staccato in NRO gets annoying after a bit.

Little review I posted in the OP but I'll share here, too:

Katy Perry's new era is officially underway!

The pop superstar released a new music video for a track titled, "Daisies," the lead single from her forthcoming fifth studio album. 

The song is upbeat and bright - a shiny pop gem the world needs in this time of uncertainty. Sure, it probably won't crash the Hot 100, but does it matter? Music not the bling.

More importantly, when most pop stars are taking a back seat because of the pandemic, Katy went the other way. She's going full album cycle on us amidst a global crisis, while pregnant.

She even unapologetically shed her clothes and showed off her naked pregnant body in the video, which takes place inside an enchanting forest far away from the worries of a coronavirus. It's hard to fathom watching Katy in her element that the world is seemingly imploding. That's the beauty of this song and video. 

Yea, this isn't Katy's best release ever, but that's not what it's meant to be. "Daisies" is a beacon of hope in a time when we could all use some.

True, true. I meant to say something along those lines. I just had no desire to see her naked, pregnant out in nature personally lol. I don’t mean to be shady either, I just really would have rather not seen that lol.
