Agree with the OPs post.  I will also say that the advent of social media is not necessarily kind to her type of brand of performing.

But it's also true she has already had a substantial career for a former solo teen star and doesn't need to perform again for money.

As the OP said, she is an insanely successful business woman who still makes a fortune every year from fragrances (upfront fee+ commission/royalties) despite her declining overall relevance as an entertainer and her insane longevity in the business.

I feel this break from her career, social media people commenting on looks, performing etc... is great for her. 

She really should live her life at this point.
