It's a great book by the way. She is a wonderful writer, easy read. I highly recommend it. Reading it gave me insight into the fraught relationship between a mentally unstable stage mother and her dependent child who loves her. And also, the aftermath of getting through the abuse of being a child star with the "creator" in her life. It's the code name for a man who has been accused of abuse by other child stars.

Jennette needed therapy for an eating disorder caused by her mother and did not immediately find the right therapist.
