Did You Ever See Her Vegas Residency?

Recommended Posts

Just the tour rendition of it in Manchester - it was utterly amazing being in the same building as her. And she did the best with what she had considering what pain she must have been in. I am still very upset I partook in the tour / paid money to her team. But I love her and hope she forgives me!

I saw her in February and March of 2015.

My first show I had so-so seats, but the seats were centered at least so I could see everything pretty well. She seemed like... Idk honestly to be going through the motions for my shows - BUT she looked like a doll and the atmosphere was great imo.

My 2nd show I had GA tickets and got right up to the stage, she looked directly at me and smiled during Do Something and I almost died. Oh, and I ran into Willie in the lobby of PH the next day. That was coo.

Spoiler

I'm mad I didn't buy a M&G but what did I really miss tbh

I never went but one thing I notice is that the fans who go to her show always have great things to say compared to those who watch her live Vegas performances

It’s true, when you see it through the screen it looks underwhelming but seeing it in person is totally different. The stage is bigger, even from far away you can feel Britney’s energy and she danced her *** off so it’s heartbreaking when fans judge her at the time for giving weak performances when in actuality she did great.

No. The last time I saw her was in April 2004 during the Onyx tour. Her show actually got rescheduled because she hurt her ankle a stop before me.

I also saw DWAD in December 2001 and June 2002.

My uncle offered to purchase Circus tickets for me in 2009, but I wasn’t feeling her televised performances or the album (it was too “safe” for me). I did not want to see Femme Fatale live, either. My mom mentioned going to Vegas and I declined to see Britney.

You declined going to see Britney at circus tour? She looked amazing in those televised performances in 2008 and of course they played it safe as it was her official come back.  Womaniser, circus and if you seek amy are definitely not safe songs😂  they are hit songs.

Graduation gift to myself Pom 2015. It was good but not great. We all knew what was halo. The souvenir store was incredible. Personally Circus > FF > Pom

then saw her last concert ever formula 1 Austin tx. I just didn't like she had to act so much like a puppet it was obvious the show was for the masses of sheep not the true fans as much.

I just didn’t feel connected to her at the time in 2008/2009. I didn’t know what was up, but she seemed distant. I remember her barely talking during the MTV interview before For the Record premiered. Something was off.

Britney stopped near my city three times during Circus. I had friends who saw Circus the first time around. And to be honest, they said they were disappointed because she wasn’t dancing passionately or interacting with the crowd very much. As someone who saw DWAD and Onyx live, I just wasn’t interested.

Regarding the songs, I’m not saying they aren’t hits. But the album felt safe and boring to me, especially after In the Zone and Blackout. I listen to heavy metal and industrial music way more than pop, TBH, and by the time I was an older teenager in 2008 I just wasn’t into the style of music on Circus. I did, however, think Femme Fatale had a harder edge and rocked out to many of the songs. That said, I REALLY felt something was off by the time FF dropped.

I’m a legacy Britney fan. I started following her in 1999, back in elementary school. I will always follow her because she changed my life, but I’ve had times where I wasn’t as interested in her career. TBH, I gave up on her until FreeBritney happened, with the exception of buying Glory because I could tell her heart was in that project. But her live performances still weren’t of interest to me in 2016. She improved so much on stage around that time, but I wasn’t going to Vegas.

Yeah I see what you mean, I was only 13 years old in 2008 so I may of been too young to realise a vibe was off as I was literally obsessed with her at that point. It makes sense as you were older you would of noticed it more. saying that.. I felt like that with femme fatale in 2011 when I was 16/17 but you could truly see something was off and she seemed heavily medicated.

Agreed. TBH, that’s why FreeBritney revived me as a huge fan. I realized why things seemed so off and I give her so much freaking credit for merely getting on stage as she was dealing with everything.

Yes! It was right after the revamp, I sat front row and even met Fe. Was too scared to even consider a meet and greet and just thought my anxiety would rub off, and that it was too forced. Looking back I have a slight feeling of guilt about it, but I truly enjoyed it.

The worst part looking back is when Jamie, Goblin and Edan walked through the bar nearby and everyone cheered.
