cats know their limits and it feels amazing when they show you love and affection BECAUSE they're "smartasses" brinny 

and i have that 600 dollar litter robot so i have no qualms and stay smelling CLEAN

I hate dogs and cats puppies are cute though but I would say crocodiles are my favourite pets they are  so adorable this is me and my beautiful crocodile  this morning so cute I know

I've lived my whole life literally, surrounded by cats. There were cats in my house since before I was born, and we still have cats today.

I used to feel offended by classmates and such growing up that would frown upon having cats, but loved dogs. But over the years I've learned to not pay attention, and I actually feel pity that they never had the luck to be blessed with a cat. I've never owned a dog, but I have been near them because of my relatives and such, and I just feel like they're very needy, not just in the emotional way but you really need to walk them, etc. I would feel very guilty to neglect a dog when I know I have very little free time.

A cat is more independent in that sense, even if they still need some cares, but you really need to know them well. Every cat is different. Well, I'd say there's like 6 or 7 major personalities, and every cat falls in one of them. Again, after 30 years of living with cats, when I meet a new one I'm like "oh, so it's THIS type of cat". There are some that are very adorable and want you to pet them, they cuddle with you, etc, and there are others that won't even let you touch them (but it's always fun to bother them by poking their bellies, it's worth the scratch )
