How come we don't talk about Halsey enough?

Halsey is one of Pop's greatest acts of this generation. Her music is intoxicating, her lyrics are relatable. 

Every album from Badlands to HFK and her last two records are gold. They all have a different sound. Her music is well produced and she sings with emotion.

Her songs including 'Without Me,' '11 Minutes,' 'Bad at Love,' are some of my favorites. She has so many more. 

I never hear much talk about her work?

She's kind of just... there

She is talented but her attitude is insufferable and she really lost her way by doing so many collabs, which makes her a bit desperate musically.

I think her inability to find her own genre and niche hasn't really helped her by a solidified artist, sort of like Demi Lovato but more popular.

She's a less talented Ellie Goulding in my opinion.

 

Her attitude makes her completely insufferable, kinda like Demi Lovato, just super pretentious.

 

I'll be happy if we never hear from her again.

So let me get this straight collaborating is desperate? But when artists like Madonna, Britney, Rihanna, Beyoncé, et cetera collaborate with artists it's okay because they are big names? Wow!

She doesn't have her own sound and hopped on too many collabs while doing their sound and not hers

I get where people are coming from with the Demi comparisons, though I had never thought of it that way before. 
 

But I love her music and also think she should be bigger than she is. I love Ya’a burnee, killing boys, without me, you should be sad…

She’s the definition of mainstream music. People don’t want to stan her publicly for fear of seeming basic or generic.

Not sure why she's sort of a thing? She's got no personality nor anything that would make her standout, her music is basic as **** and there isn't a single song of hers that makes me feel like I want to go and play it. She's just a filler artist who randomly comes up on shuffle and will eventually fade away
