Good news: Britney Spears’ “Oops… I Did It Again” is still the fastest selling album for an American female artist in the US!

Despite the front loaded preorder pure sales of 800K copies, Midnights could only sold an addtional 319K in the following 6 days, total 1.119M copies pure sales in 7 days.

Without having preorder and multiple versions, Oops I Did It Again still sold faster and outsold Midnights in any given week!

God I can still remember literally everyone except me having the OIDIA and BOMT albums on their portable CD and/or cassette players on a field trip during my fourth grade year in school.

Anyways, i think nobody really cares about that ‘american’ fact. Adele has beaten Britney as female solo artist and holds the title.  Its funny how some of you are keep trying to find Britney’s acknowledge.

Britney broke the record first and she broke it at a time when information was less available, and people had to actually go to the store to purchase music.
