That excuse isn't good enough. How many wealthy entertainers make some bad choices (everyone does) without being pushed into c-ships? How many get married without prenups? If they really wanted to protect her from users and gold-diggers, there would have been legitimate ways to do that, and she would have liked being surrounded by people who really cared about her interests. I don't blame Jamie and his lawyer for saying what they must to try to shift blame, but no one's buying it.

It doesn't matter if "daddy loves his daughter", that isn't what a conservatorship is for. You still misused a court option. Additionally, what other options did you pursue? Why did it have to be the most oppressive with the least insight? Why did you, a failed business man, place yourself at the centre of it.

 

Either they know it's over, or they're delusional.
