It’s just odd that after Wendy said “____ to them all” she went on hiatus from her show and now this. Not accusing anyone of anything, but it’s oddly suspicious.

Also, I know this is bad to say, but it’s funny how Karma works - Wendy was so horrible to Britney calling her “coo-coo” and crazy and how she needs to be in a conservatorship and now this happens.. Granted, Wendy changed her thoughts recently and she 100% doesn’t deserve to have this happen to her though

If she does get put in a conservatorship type situation, I HOPE TO GOD the people who are caring for her and her money have her best interests at heart. I don’t want her to be taken advantage of the way Britney did. Nobody deserves that level of abuse.

Why are conservatorships still allowed to be thing? After all we’ve learned?

 Sorry if I sound ignorant… but there seems to be more people who have been exploited and abused from them than actually helped

 

Also do conservatorships only exist in the States? I’ve never heard of anyone being placed in one outside of the US.

I'm pretty sure they exist. Just under different names. Here in the UK i'm pretty sure the equivalent of being put in a conservatorship is similar to a "power of attorney". My grandparent is in one and there's been so much inner family conflict for years because of it. Money hungry aunts and cousins.

It's pretty much the same as a conservatorship. You control the aspects of their personal and financial life. My grandparent has dementia so I'm guessing those are the grounds she was put under it. I don't get too involved in that that stuff so I don't know a crazy amount about it.

Nope. Not just California. Wendy resides in NY, but was getting treatment in Florida. I believe in Florida is where she's being placed under a conservatorship, I think.
