I think she has things in her personal life she seriously needs to work through.

Mhh i think she has a good voice, i am not a fan of her but if i had the possibility to see her live and the tickets were ok priced i would go to see her live. I think many people in vegas may go as a last minute choice too.

I will be honest. Yeah, it’s unrealistic that she will have MASSIVE success (I can see her doing smaller venue of a show), but with a boy band along her side it honestly could work. It would be really fun to see Jessica and (not 98 degrees) maybe like O-Town or new kids on the block 

But to say that she’s always high or drunk is incorrect! She actually did a full on coherent interview and I have so much compassion for her and her honesty as someone who also struggled with substances in the past

No offense to anyone in this thread, but I know most of you don’t live in Vegas, nor have you ever been here so you don’t really know what you’re talking about...

There are SOOO many people who get/have/had residencies, and you would probably say “who?” Or “Why?” … Jessica would likely do good out here. A lot of you are really young, I’m not sure if you realize that Vegas was basically revamped and revitalized when Britney got a residency. Before that, it was a little unheard of for a star of her relevance and magnitude to have a show in Vegas and it was considered a place where has-beens and washed up stars tried to revive their careers (Cher aside)- it used to be a telltale sign of the end of a singer's popularity/career. Like- “oh, they can’t even get enough people to see them for a full tour they have to stay in the same place” - now that thinking has changed, people are like “Oh wow, look at how much power she has to have people from all over the world come to HER, she doesn’t even have to go anywhere. YAAAASSSSSS QUEEN, SLAYYYY” it’s also been pointed out by other people that last minute tickets would definitely sell. 

There are so many venues here, nearly every casino/hotel has one because we are a tourist/entertainment destination. And absolutely no shade to Gwen Stefani, but I don’t see how her residency was as successful as it was. I mean, I love her and a lot of her songs, but I didn’t think she was that big compared to other pop stars.  Jessica definitely would fit in somewhere.

I think she left Music for that reason alone, she always came in 3rd behind Britney and Tina 

 

While tina girl might be hated in the forum, she probably has a better chance. 

 

If she just lets someone take over the album. Whether writing lyrics and just tells her to sing like her debut album. 

 

Stripped might be iconic but the numbers don't lie, people want the debut album girl forever.

I didn't say she's always high/drunk, just that every interview I've personally seen she's been out of it. I do empathize but that's why I think she's not ready to hit the stage.

I'm also not sure she cares to commit to a residency

U are probably right tho honestly… because the truth is (and@SUCCESSICA IS A QUEEN don’t kill me) If she wanted to focus on her music career she would release an album! I know she was writing a lot two years back, but I don’t think anything has come out  yet?? I think if she’s gonna do a residency I would love to see her do it combined with another boy band so that theres a lot of music to pull from. She has already expressed that she doesn’t love the pop pop stuff and doesn’t want to do choreo again. She said she would like to do a stripped down version of I Think I’m in Love in the future. I think there’s a lot she can pull from but she really has to want it

I saw her last tour, The Reality Tour, that supported In This Skin, and regret so much not going to her Dream WIthin A Dream Chaser Tour. To see her doing the choreo to Irresistible would've been everything! She didn't do any choreo in the Reality Tour

She is completely unknown outside of the US. I’m clearly a pop Stan because I’m here, and I’m a big fan of Britney, but I never knew who she was till like 5 years ago and never saw Jessica as near britney’s level. Jessica was always just a label puppet to release cute tracks and make money to spend on other artists like Christina, Britney, lil Kim, pink, Justin and other icons of the time. Same with Ashlee Simpson, Mandy Moore, etc.

They had NO impact outside of the US, the only song the UK knows of Jessica’s is that boots song and Pink shading her in Stupid Girls. I can’t remember the last time I saw or heard a Jessica Simpson song on the TV or radio here. 
 

Like I can’t explain how irrelevant she is, she just isn’t spoken of at all. Not that I hate the girl, but she definitely doesn’t have the X Factor.

Shes definitely a respectable business woman though, and it seems as if she had a gorgeous family and has done spectacularly well in her life so far. Happy for her. But her music is garbage and isn’t anything new or fresh or exciting, just cookie cutter pop music that everyone instantly forgot when the decade changed in 2010, probably before that

I don’t know if you meant this in a shady way, but this is definitely the way she’d have to do it. Even at her peak, Jessica wasn’t selling out arenas. Her biggest tour was amphitheaters.

I think it's just appropriate venue size for Jessica given her career now! Still think she could probably do one hell of a show, just don't know if there is a huge demand
