  1. Ever since you wrote this comment I’ve been thinking about it non stop. Props yo you.
  2. Personally I feel as if all the good girls go to hell is. It literally has the same chord progression and bass lines as BOMT. This mashup is absolutely brilliant btw.
  3. I’ll watch the video when I get the chance but all I can say is Russ is literally a musical genius and one of the most underrated artists to debut within the last 10 years.
  4. So was Vegas, r@+ The anticipation was huge BJ era was hardly a flop for someone who was 8 studio albums in and didn’t even sing on the record
  5. Sweetie I remember the BJ era quite vividly Work ***** had a lot of hype and I remember my local friend group being really excited for it at the time. Also the EDM community was going crazy after the release of WB. Her true first ‘flop’ era was Glory considering the lead single literally came and went
  6. Yes I literally brought this up in the recent Circus thread. Her voice really began to sound more frail/robotic post-Blackout and what really bothers me the most about Circus as an album are not necessarily the songs per se but how soulless she sounds on the record. In retrospect, it makes sense and I think the last thing she wanted to do was record another album but at the same time, Britney and her team were so desperately focused on fixing the pieces by going full-on damage control and rush-releasing an album. It was a double-edged sword really. On one hand, the Circus era, overall, helped recover her brand/legacy and she became the ultimate ‘comeback queen’ but on the other hand, it was likely very taxing on her mental health considering what she went/was going through in her private life.
  7. The bigger the star, the bigger the headlines. With more headlines comes negative press and public scrutiny. In the case of Britney, her rise to megastardom and ‘lolita’ image at such an early age was like an avalanche and truly unprecedented in pop culture, so much that the world became obsessed and would paint her as ‘bad’ for something as simple as expressing herself. I mean, it really isn’t rocket science, Reese.
  8. No Glory was She was still very relevant in 2013 and WB had a lot of hype along with the launch of her Las Vegas residency whereas during Glory, the general public literally didn’t care nor did they know she was releasing music (and I don’t blame them since the lead single was underwhelming and the music/visuals were very sub-par that era)
  9. Hope this one doesn’t disappoint unlike the forgettable mess that was COCC
  10. Can’t wait OMG this truly ha Oops I Did It Again moment We are witnessing pop music history right before our very eyes
