My issue with that song and Death By a Thousand Cuts is the intros. I’m super huge on how an artist opens their songs and a crappy intro automatically ruins a song for me. I need something to captivate me instantly

I like it until the second chorus kicks in. Then it gets a little too repetitive for me. I love the vocals though. I thought she was going for a Tina Turner type of song but nope. It wasn't what I needed.
