SpaceX and NASA bring in a new era of space exploration

A new era of space exploration just begun. SpaceX just launched two NASA astronauts into space. This marks the first time humans have ever been launched into space by a private company.

SpaceX has risen to success based on its ability to find efficiencies and cost reductions in space transportation, such as by reusing parts of rockets that would normally be discarded. The company is the most promising when it comes to space exploration and travel becoming more affordable and regular. This is a marked changed from the past era where NASA, a government agency, was the only space organization in the U.S. to be innovating and paving the way for space exploration.
