It shouldn’t be surprising. She contradicts herself a lot in what she says. I think she just says whatever comes to mind and we shouldn’t even pay attention to it most of the time. I mean... She said she sings live lol that should be the biggest indicator that she just either has no clue what to say or lies most of the time

And for the OP about Britney selling out stadiums, she can depending on the city and country (like Brazil). But as a whole tour ofcourse not 

I was responding to the person that said Pom was doing better than stadium tours though. So yes I’m comparing them then.

well @GodneyLush before the thread was merged with this, I had just written this huge post, but when I clicked Submit, the thread was gone, for the 10000000th time that has happened to me.

But more or less, I was saying that, yes it's true that the costumes could improve a lot, but in person they look so sparkly indeed, and suddenly they don't appear that cheap or weird as they look on video.

 

 

I get why people criticize her movements and so, especially because there's things that could be easily fixed with a true choreographer, rehearsals, a costume designer and a good hairstyle she can't mess around with. But that doesn't mean the show is not enjoyable for the people that attend.

I ignore the prices for most of this tour, but at the end I think just seeing Britney Spears live is already worth a lot of money, but that's just me. It's up to anyone to ponder how much of a fan they are and what's more important to them, getting to see their idol live, or getting a next to perfect show. Also if she's doing a small venue, it makes sense that the tickets are more expensive because probably she has to get a certain amount of money per show. Also if there's less seats, they become more valuable because only the ones willing to pay a lot will get the chance to see her. Now, if big stadiums are that expensive as well, my theory gets invalidated, but still, I think this is all about the exclusiveness of this tour, and not so much about the quality (sadly). She's been doing Vegas for a while and she's most likely going to return for a couple of years, and it's been years since the last time she toured, so just that makes each of this concerts a very exclusive event, and probably a once in a lifetime opportunity for several of these cities she's visiting, so that in itself makes it more expensive, rather than if she was touring every other year, and this round of concerts wasn't anything unusual.

Why’d she describe the OHT costumes as Promiscuous?? I think she means Provocative. That’s a better descriptive word for those Onyx costumes imo.

I think I kinda get what she means.  At one point on the OHT she was wearing skimpy underwear and full-on making out with a dude on a bed, and then she was in a nude bodysuit simulating ************ in a tub. She might be wearing lingerie on stage now, but she isn’t wearing provocative outfits while also doing raunchy stuff.  

But yeah, she constantly contradicts herself, so...

2013 wasn't the best year for Britney though, particularly when you realise how rushed and forced it was.  This was the beginning of ''I'm a mom now!'' as a turn of phrase and when you look at POM's original costumes, when she made that statement, you can see they weren't as raunchy. Back in 2003/4, Britney was getting a lot of backlash and/or criticism for Onyx, because the outfits were a huge change for her, and were used to be **** and somewhat raunchy. She had the confidence to carry them though.

 Nowadays, very little has the same punch. Everyone is wearing latex, or *****, chains and leather so Britney wearing a mismatched bikini....is just that. There's no thought to the costume.

Its the intent and the context that matter. At the moment, her costumes are ''this is cute...and i like these pants''.

Its a mixture of going through the motions for four years (''sure I got this down, I don't have to push myself or think about it), not rehearsing enough (''I've been doing this for four years, I don't have have to think about it''), bad habits (''oh....should I be doing more here?'') and her own anxiety (''am I supposed to be here? is this right?''), which isn't aided by the other three. 

It why when she pushes herself, she stops doing them or does them far less(2015-2016). When she performs new routines, or when she she's fully relaxed.

She needs to rehearse more.

Probably because she wasn't energetic, and the tour didn't last as long as POM did. They couldn't develop.

This, she's just very nervous and probably wants the interviews to go by as fast as they can, so she just says things without thinking twice.

well of course, she's not wearing a g-strings with a bra that makes her ***** almost hanging out, she's not dancing on a pool and she's not throwing her leg on a male dancer and  she doeen't look like a pornstar, not at all
