i agree. it’s just poorly produced which is why there might be a lot of skepticism about why it sounds like AI or myah marie. i think a will.i.am song where britney’s vocal are better produced is S&S. you can hear the colors and textures in her voice on that track and it doesn’t sound highly edited. on this song her voice in certain parts sound very cheaply auto tuned and distorted. i like songs where britney’s voice have different effects on it but this doesn’t sound very well produced

eek! i hate to be negative, but there is just something that feels off about it. i feel like the way britney’s vocals are produced are kind of messy during certain parts. also britney is capable of doing SO much more with her voice…her voice in this song lacks attitude and personality imo. whether it’s singing or just like sing-talking, britney usually has so much more personality in her voice… a song like “love me down” really showcases how much she can do with her voice whether it’s sing-talking or actual singing. this song just feels like there’s a few lines that were sung that were just copy and pasted over and over. with all the drama surrounding britney jean, nyah marie and AI, you would think will.i.am would try to get it right this time. it’s hard not to be skeptical of whether britney is actually singing on this song or not. i will say, i actually like some of the lyrics and i do like the message of the song… i just think they could’ve done so much more with it! anyways, i’m glad if people do like it… i just feel like as a whole the song is kind of a mess. it seems like britney may not be that excited about the song either as she has promoted it very little.

it’s kind of cool! i like how it’s kind of like a tongue twister with the lyrics. i like that it’s a fun/ silly/ clever way of delivering the message. it kind of reminds me of “my humps” with fergie. i can see people dancing to it and singing the words in the club! it’s definitely something that will get stuck in your head. of course i wish we could have a song with killer vocals like glory, but not every song has to be that.

it may be great like scream and shout or a mess like big flat bass… but it’s nice to see that britney is still enjoying creating music on her terms! while will.i.am is not my fav producer for britney to work with, i think britney probably chose to work with him because of the great relationship they have. britney now has freedom to create music with who she wants and i’m guessing that will.i.am is someone she trusts and feels comfortable with.

lol agreed! i think people are getting confused by the first and second chorus… the tik tok clip sounds like it’s just the second chorus where there vocals are mixed together… the first chorus is where they showcase britney’s vocals alone

i think this is just the second chorus where britney and elton’s vocals are layered on top of each other… the first chorus is where it’s just britney’s vocals that are being showcased…

it sounds like the second chorus where it’s both of their vocals layered together… the first chorus is just britney singing “hold me closer tiny dancer”

aw britney sounds so angelic and heavenly, but why do they bury her voice in layered vocals and vocal effects on the verses?! her voice really shines though on the parts where her vocals aren’t processed so much like the chorus and adlibs!

im so impressed by her! I appreciate how vulnerable she is in this post and how she admits to feeling insecure. I feel like Britney is very emotionally intelligent. It seems like her family, the business and the press really shattered her confidence and its totally understandable why she feels so insecure, but I hope she keeps "tooting her own horn" and realizes how beautiful and powerful she is.

i agree… such a dramatic post… i think most people see what britney said about christina and realize that britney is just feeling a lot of anger at this time with everything she’s been through. i think some fans need to realize that britney is human and her feelings are going to get the best of her sometimes… she’s human! she’s been through so much and has been silenced for so long… she is going to react how people discuss her situation with a lot of emotion. she probably doesn’t know that christina wrote that heartfelt message a little while back… maybe britney will see that christina did acknowledge her situation before and post an apology… if not, life will go on and both britney and christina will be fine.
