  1. "I think they gave her creative freedom here!" Songwriter(s) George Astasio Jason Pebworth Jon Shave Maegan Cottone Iggy Azalea Perrie Edwards Jesy Nelson Leigh-Anne Pinnock Jade Thirlwall "I think britney styled herself!" Britney Spears wears crazy hairdo for Pretty Girls set with Iggy Azalea | Daily Mail Online WWW.DAILYMAIL.CO.UK The swapped her long tresses for a much shorter hairdo sporting a curly bob while wearing a repeat outfit from the day before. And listen to the first snippet of the single Pretty Girls. "Britney had a lot of energy performing it!" maybe, but britney had a good performing year during 2015 before the revamp, so it's not inherently because of pretty girls They even searched Iggy's entire house for drvgs. I'm sure britney wasn't very comfortable with it. I could go on in the many ways that the conservatorship stripped everything that britney liked about making music from her, but I recommend you re-read her book and understand she hated most of this time period. She has said she only liked WB and Glory. No mention for anything on Circus, FF, anything else from BJ or PG.
  2. I think she hated it lol, she didn't mention any of it in the book because she respects iggy for speaking up did you guys even read her book? britney is very aware of her looks and how she's perceived and everyone made fun of her during the release of PG. I'm sure she hated every second of it. they had Iggy dressed in tight dresses and long hair but they had britney dressed like an 80's mom who smokes inside of her living room they made her act, she's said she considers herself bad and she probably is embarrassed of the samsung add they had to put mid video and the song was just not as good guys lol britney has good ear she likes toxic MATM, Blackout, you think she considers PG good? her being goofy doesn't have anything to do with completely missing the point of what's good for her image and career
  3. she had the type of voice that makes everything feel ok thank you britney for sharing it with the world
  4. Honestly, I hope not. It sounds like a chepa cash grab, watch it be a vinyl with the cover of BOMT and silver letters, if they even care enough to do that. Britney has one of the most iconic discographies ever and her vinyls could be gorgeous releases like the Urban Outfitters were, but the label insists on never putting any effort into making things more marketeable. Also, I honestly don't care for tracks that have been online for years, I want to listen to something new. They can keep it.
  5. Iconic I wouldn't say. 2013 was the golden era of youtube and WB is still in the 300M where S&S and other hits like roar have all surpassed 1B. But it is her last high budget video, I love SP but for some reason it looks CHEAP, I don't like the color palette or the outfits and I think britney looked way better in 2016 than it is portrayed in that video
  6. also, britney might be more popular now than she was during the FF era, she re gained A LOT of public attention since 2021. Her book sold a million copies in a week, while her albums and singles had been staying on the 100k copies first week during the last decade. one of the strategies of the conservatorship was to lower her exposition, because she was too much out there up until 2009. this, even tho at the time we thought it was better for her mental health, (it might have been if she wasn't being forced to work all the time) had a very damaging effect on her selling power, with a lot of people not even being aware that she was still releasing music in 2013 and 2016. If she dropped something new, it'd need to be highly promoted (by the label, playlisting etc) as a new comeback on the level of Womanizer
  7. she'd need a new album/era to be prominent again, I'm not saying something like Midnights but at least somenthing on Future Nostalgia's level
  8. Also, while both Dirrty and slave might be on similar levels, Dirrty doesn't have a performance as iconic as Slave on the VMAs.
  9. btw, this is Xtina's peak definitely, but Britney didn't peak with Slave, she had Toxic in her next era and Xtina never came any close to it. I will say tho, that Stripped has legendary singles. Had Xtina been able to stay on that level, her competition with britney would've made much more sense but her career started to decline quickly right after.
  10. I was 4 years old living outside of america... so no. Thank you for those sharing your memories, it makes me feel like I was there. You're so lucky to have experienced that 💖
  11. Get Naked is my favorite I think it might be the best line on the song others I enjoy: If you want this good sh.i.t, sicker than the remix. forever censored tho I don't think it's a curse word but I always loved the "living in sin is the new thing" from 3, but it's censored as well
  12. I think it's an old story, not something recent. Maybe during the conservatorship. I want to believe nowadays people ask britney directly like a normal person...
  13. britney hangs out with the weirdest people ever cause I can't imagine a waiter asking this to someone pretending like the other person isn't there and someone responding like that
