Britney wants to redo Beyonce's song "Daddy Lessons" with Jay-Z: "So many people have done remixes to my songs without my knowledge"

Britney danced to Beyonce's song "Daddy Lessons" and says she'd like to redo the song with Jay-Z. She also says there have been a ton of remixes made about her own music without her knowledge.

Or shade the use of Toxic at a rave or EDM festival. Is homegirl aware that remixes of a pop classic give it relevance and a modern twist? Should we start punishing producers or DJs for remixing or sampling pop hits? It’s like she purposely wants her legacy to fade into obscurity. So much entitlement and ofc, her fans will enable this sort of attitude. I just hope the Beyhive won’t drag her after this but I wouldn’t be surprised.

We don't even know if she's really pissed. If she is, she has the right to, it's her problem, not ours.

I believe what must piss her is not so much that people remix her songs, but the fact that she isn't even notified. She doesn't have to, because she's not the author of the song, but just out of courtesy it would be nice if a peer was like "hey Britney, I'm doing this mashup of your song" or whatever.

I feel like that's what she finds disrespectful, not that her music is being used

She clearly doesn’t care about her music though. Maybe she has bad memories associated with a lot of them? I mean, she hardly even uses it herself bc I’ve heard more Beyoncé songs on her IG alone than Britney’s. That should tell you enough

I don’t think she is mad at all. She knows how the industry works and she is just stating that she loves this song and will do her version at some point. Very easy. Not everything is loaded with emotions or shade. 
 

Besides we all know she loves Beyonce!
