I'd appreciate it if you could make a notice that says not to post AI generated photos outside of the AI thread so people don't get confused between AI Britney and real Britney. Just please don't delete the thread because a lot of hard work went into it but it would be ok if you think it should be moved as long as AI songs go to the same section as well because that wouldn't be very fair if it didnt. Thanks.

AI is AI, and real Britney remains real Britney, and that's not going anywhere. Any fan that respects themselves can tell the real Britney from an AI generated image (which btw, it's still not perfect)

People trying to replace Britney or wishing they could tell her what to do or how to look like, has existed since before AI, and one thing doesn't imply the other, and we see it everyday with everyone that complains or criticizes her Instagram posts. Again, vile people exist with or without AI.

there's nothing groundbreaking or relevant about them, but there's also no threat in them existing. They're just fun images. I'm not a digital artist, I don't know how to use Photoshop to make something like this on my own, so to be able to just type some words and get a result like this, it's just pretty outstanding (and very addictive).

Literally just one day before the image generator was released to the public, these were my "edits" that I was doing

just some random filters from an online website, that's the level of my skills

 

I don't think I'm playing with Britney Spears the human, I'm playing with Britney Spears the public image, the product we've been consuming for over 25 years and that has been on hiatus for years. We'll probably never get a proper music video or photoshoot again, nor there aren't any secret photoshoots or footage to unearth from the past. None of this surpasses or replaces the real photoshoots and videos, but what is so wrong about satisfying a fan's need to see their idol in a setting they've always imagined in the most realistic way possible?

 

I agree with you. 

The reason why I’ve been leaning towards using AI for thumbnails and social media posts is because I’ve been sued for copyright infringement for using photoshoot photos - it was an awful experience and I need to protect BH and myself from that happening. I don’t want to always use a photo from her Instagram because it’s fun to switch things up. But I def see both sides and also understand people’s concern about what is real and isn’t. In the posts I specify that the image is AI to try and be transparent. 

I look at these AI renderings as art. They’re fun and imaginative. We can celebrate Britney in new and innovative ways and I’ve really been enjoying seeing all the renderings and weaving them into the stories. There are plenty of instances where it’s more appropriate to use a real image - and I do. But I also think there are times where we can engage with viewers in a way that’s never been done before and that feels exciting. It’s been a really tough couple years for me and BH and sometimes it’s just too much and I retreat to protect myself. As a tech guy, AI has breathed new life into things and I don’t want to turn away from that. But I also want to remain aware and not turn people off bc of my own viewpoints, so I’m trying to find that balance right now. It’s a complicated topic, but I’m glad we can all be open and share our thoughts. 🙏

Im not a fan. I think its a terrible idea just like the AI songs. I dont get the appeal of fake stuff.

I prefer Britney's photos that she posts on Instagram over these any day. 

Please make a section like someone else said only for AI so the people who like it can go to that thread.

And its also dangerous. The new generation will think these are real photos from her prime which they are not!

I actually like the AI stuff (when I'm in the mood for it) but I agree with this. Maybe it can have it's own section or forum. Some of it is good but A LOT of it is bad so it can really clutter things up for people that aren't interested.

Please don't post every single image you decide to generate. The amount of images that AI can create is literally infinite so it can be a lot to wade through in these AI threads. Let's use our judgement and skip the wonky images that look way off and stick to the ones that are especially striking please and thank you.

I agree, and most of the latest threads are using fake AI thumbnails it just makes the section looks fake.

It's not that much of a big deal, every artists have now AI songs. Even in the world of books or movies, fans use to write their own stories, or create fiction with the characters. But I do find it annoying, all the time, new threads opened every day. My God, create a forum for you to share your art there.

I think for books and movie purposes is a lot different creating fiction rather than a living legend like Britney being treated like she's no longer here and people making fake songs and photos of her like she doesn't exist.

I see a lot of people posting AI generated pics of themselves too on instagram, and each time I think THIS STUFF IS GOING TO GIVE PEOPLE BODY DISMORPHIA. These days it seems like it’s not even good enough to look like yourself anymore.

I don't think they should be used professionally, but being able to AI generate my favourite person in the world I to scenes of music videos and dresses of the style I design is insanely fun.

 

It's making my dreams come true. The GP (or at least my mates) are LOVING seeing how I'm styling her with my detailed prompts 🩵
