Good lord, She can’t sing anymore, period.

The result of zero vocal coaching in 20 years.

I will not accept this!!

then what's left? no dancing skills, no voice...

Then it just makes sense for her to quit totally, never release music never perform and just enjoy her life in tranquility.

She's had trouble with vocal control for a very long time. Even in songs like Luv the Hurt Away, which fans often use to validate her vocal talents, there's a sense of being "forced" and not landing smoothly after certain notes.

After decades of minimal to no real vocal coaching, secretly smoking since she was a teenager (girl even had Marlboro Lights right next to her as she was recording Britney Jean!), poor technique and singing in an unhealthy baby voice, etc., she would tremendously benefit from thorough training that I believe she needed as a teenager and even before she started using the baby voice.

It's fine if Britney doesn't want to do this. I'll still always be a fan of hers. She can do whatever she wants and everything else her fans are always pointing out - I agree! But I have to be honest.

Yikes. I mean we can hear the damage in her regular vocal cords when she speaks… it doesn’t sound like her speaking ‘baby’ voice anymore- always almost feels strained or like she’s crying.. I guess this has translated to her having troubles hitting her baby voice when singing too. She could do a good deep voice now.. but I guess smoking did its trick. I’m a huge Britney fan and love her a lot, but the voice did change and that was… not great

Critics were talking about exactly what you said all the way back from 20 years ago.

I doubts it is smoking. also doubts she smoked 5 packs a day to have vocal cds damaged

This may be linked to medication. Her voice changed A LOT already in 2010 and bit after that

There’s good elements like her runs, the tone, the soulful vibe. But I think it’s too breathy, her voice cracks a lot. But it’s fine she didn’t warm up her vocals it’s just for fun so don’t take it too seriously.

But I feel like behind all these cracks somehow her voice is even bigger and stronger than before, she just needs to update her technique and the way she sings and sing more with her belly, open her mouth and let her resonance shine. Her big voice has been hiding since the MMC days.

you never rode a horse, right?

of course she is out of breath because of that.
