OMG “Let Me Be” is actually such a good song and it needs to be discussed

Honestly though this post makes me so happy because “Let Me Be” has been my favorite Britney song since I first heard it. The angst. The vocals. The dance-ability. It’s everything I’ve ever needed.

Tbh I thought the Darkchild tracks like “Let Me Be” and “Lonely” were better than The Neptunes produced tracks.

Yes, I love this song and it always makes me feel so nostalgic when I hear it! Britney sounds so great. Her voice is so effortless, bright, and crisp here. The song just flows so well. I especially like the second verse a little after a minute in.

Britney album in general really is one of her best. It has so much personality and is an interesting mix of a lot of her work.
