Also, when the character says what was the last nas*ty pop star why I feel they channelized Britney paparazzi era here? The character driving the car and all or am I overthinking?

Iconic song! You can’t tell me that this show isn’t loosely based around Britney the “pop star” ‘s career. This screams Britney to me.

The fact Gimme More was released in 2007 and has continued to be relevant and popular over the years and doesn't age. Iconic. I’m excited it’s once again going to get the recognition it deserves. Legendary.

I’m pretty sure the negative press was a publicity stunt. Rolling stone would not have allowed their name in the show if it was legit. 
 

I hope she is MORE involved. It’s very clearly based on her career, and the fact she met with him makes me think that it got her seal of approval. We can only hope for a new song too
