the snippet is not enough, the snippet is just like that - misses the build up. i have had snippets on my mp3 going out but this is just beginning to build up and then ends. i cant add it like that

I stand corrected. After hearing the full song, I think I was wrong and that it is Britney’s voice just with a different vibe. She’s called a vocal actress for a reason.

It’s probably a splice job. The “uh” in the beginning before the first verse is definitely not Britney imo. Most of the verse sounds like Britney, but a few syllables here and there sound like a different singer. So they might have spliced the vocals with Myah or another studio singer when Britney missed a note.

I like the cringy lyrics. Britney looked happy in the studio bc she finally got her “more urban” song lol

I thought the same thing. The first time I heard body ache snippet i knew it wasn’t Britney. But most of this new clip is her imo. I think some of the beginning is dubbed in from a studio singer, but the later half of the song sounds like the real Britney to me. Took me several listens to come to a personal conclusion.

unfortunately, most people who don’t believe this is Myah also don’t believe Britney Jean is half Myah, even after the stems exposed two COMPLETELY different voices on the “lead” vocals.

 

we are just going to have to decide, and definitely my first thought, before i  even read any of this, was MM. I do not hear Britney in that especially the lower notes, not at all. Myah can ONLY do the nasal fry really well, everything else is just not how Britney’s voice sounds either in Femme Fatale or Glory, but is how “Britney” sounds on Britney Jean.

If you do not hear Britney, then you do not know Britney's voice. Noone is claiming Britney Jean isn't Myah for its majority, but this isn't Myah. Not everything is Myah. If you can't recognise Britney's voice, that's on you.

Her voice has gone through many changes thru the years. sometimes she tries to sound like her old “baby voice” and it comes off as an impersonation. At this point the baby voice is an impersonation of a parody of an affectation that wasn’t necessarily natural for her to begin with.

I’m the first person to call out these fake demos but this clip is mostly Britney imo. As is evident on her IG (like any singer) she doesn’t always sound her best.
