The song was literally confirmed by the producer and she was photographed in studio with them.

I don’t care if it‘s britney or whoever, the vocals are a complete mess, way too nasal and overproduced. Why do Glory demos always have to be so bad

Glory as we know it came after Britney didnt like when a 2015 album/ep was going which was more dance pop oriented. That era of music and charts had seen a shifted towards mumble rap and tropical house beats, but it was before Justin Tranter and Julia Michael's really lead the charts.

No I think they meant 2014. The producer is Rock Mafia who also did Exaholic. So one can assume they did it during the same session. I think this song is *extremely* early Glory

Whatever was being cooked up beforehand…gooood lordttttt. 

 

There is definitely something weird going on with the vocal affectations in certain parts though that is also present on plenty of her other songs. Some of it must be backing singers and some must actually still be her using a different tone or just with filters. It’s all another mystery…but obviously pop songs do have many many layers to the track. 

I think this might be her worst song though.
