The tracklist "Glory" should've had

  1. Invitation
  2. Make Me...
  3. Man on the Moon
  4. Just Luv Me
  5. Better
  6. Mood Ring
  7. Do You Wanna Come Over?
  8. Slumber Party
  9. Just Like Me
  10. Love Me Down
  11. Change Your Mind (No Seas Cortes)

Listening to it like this is a game changer. It sounds like a much stronger and cohesive album this way imo. It was a crime to make so many top quality songs bonus tracks and to put so many average songs on the standard version.

From day one I’ve been listening to Glory in a similar order to OP (Moodring came slightly later but whatever).

The original track listing really doesn’t work, especially on vinyl. None of the songs go together it’s so frustrating. What You Need and Private Show could’ve easily been left off the album and it would’ve been a much more cohesive product.

I love What You Need but I do admit it doesn't fit too much in the album's vibe. But, I do agree with your choices.

"Cohesive" albums are boring... variation is nice.  2 (good) club songs on the album would improve Glory so much

Make Me could have easily been a great uptempo banger but the song is too lazy and monotonous. It's catchy, it has the classic falsetto Britney vocals, it sounds very smooth and pleasant BUT.... it ends as it starts. Overall, Glory lacks of a climax in each of its songs, except for Better and maybe DYWCO or Slumber Party.
