Britney consents to her sons moving to Hawaii, Rosengart slams K-Fed's attorney

Britney "consents" to Kevin Federline and the boys moving to Hawaii, according to a letter sent by Britney's attorney, Mathew Rosengart, to K-Fed's attorney Mark Vincent Kaplan.

Rosengart slammed Kaplan for running to the press to discuss the matter. “It was more than disappointing that you nevertheless chose to publicize this matter, creating unnecessary drama and a false ‘dispute’ by publicly discussing the issue and your letter,” he writes in the letter obtained by @PageSix. “When I called you yesterday to express my dismay that you had done so, you denied doing so. Apparently, you did not realize that [TMZ’s] May 30 story itself literally quotes you as the story’s source.”

Rosengart says Kaplan’s interviews “served no good faith purpose,” calling them “undignified, ungracious and unnecessary.”

“It was also ironic, given the statement in your April 28 letter that in addition to an employment opportunity in Hawaii for Mr. Federline’s wife, the children wanted to be ‘more sheltered from the media’s scrutiny.’ That is commendable. But your media interview did nothing to shelter them; instead, it publicized the issue in the media,” he added.

Makes sense, she doesn't see them and they'll be living their own lives soon enough when they turn 18. It would have been a waste of money arguing, when they are so close to becoming legal adults.

It's the right move for the relationship between her and the kids. Objecting to this would put an even bigger strain and have the boys see Britney as being against their wishes. Loved Rosengart's response, reminders that the boys will be 18 soon, and that Kaplan is a hypocritical liar

Rosengart notes that the former couple’s eldest son, Sean Preston, “will no longer be a minor” when he turns 18 in September, while their younger son, Jayden, is also “nearing the age of maturity.”

“To her credit, Britney Spears will not interfere with and consents to the relocation,” he writes in the letter, which we obtained.

Rosengart says he “did not anticipate a dispute” when Kaplan first contacted him about the move in April and that urged his counterpart at the time to keep the matter “private for the sake and dignity of all parties involved, including the children.”

“I was particularly concerned because your client previously — and appallingly — violated their privacy, while egregiously violating Britney’s privacy, by releasing a private video of Britney with her children, which was preceded by a tabloid television interview,” the former federal prosecutor writes, referencing footage of Spears scolding Preston and Jayden and Federline’s subsequent ITV appearance last year.

You’re right. I hate to see this happen to Britney. I’m glad Rosengart called out Kaplan’s hypocrisy and vengefulness for using TMZ to publicly discuss private matters involving her kids which he always does in an effort to bully and humiliate Britney into submission. I can’t wait for the day Britney is done with having to deal with Kaplan and KFed.

She will.. they will come around .. they are manipulated by her abusers.. give it time . The gravy  train is coming to an end . Its sad but she did the right thing as a mother .  Thats a good mother.

They're still teens, and in their own head. They've got plenty of time to mature and look at the world and mother from a different perspective.

Yes!! Simply moving to Hawaii doesn't change the already existing court ordered child support order. Kevin would have to apply for a jurisdiction change, and considering the boys ages and how long it's been in California, I have a hard time believing a court would grant it.

We'll have to see what happens, but the timing is very skeptical, and I highly doubt this Hawaii move is only with intentions for Victoria's job. Just like Rosengart called it out if they wanted more of a private life, they shouldn't have done those interviews, posted those videos and had his lawyer gossip to TMZ.

I believe a court would grant extended child support in Hawaii, it's part of their law, in addition Kevin's had the boys fulltime and they want nothing to do with Britney.

It be very easy to convince a judge to have Britney keep paying under these circumstances.
