I remember when I was pregnant, the amount of people who thought I was now some kind of public monument for touching. Only one person ever said to me “Is it ok if I touch your bump?”, and I’ve never forgotten that and how amazing it felt to be asked first!

I work in childcare and when I was particularly lardy last year one of the kids (5yo) came up and patted my belly and said “aww” and walked away…

I’d never felt so shaded in my LIFE!
