honestly idgaf about the charts. Britney hasn't been this mediatized since 2008. what I'd like to see is now that she has full creative control, what is her content gonna be like. blackout? original doll? and she has a lot, a lot of stories to tell throughout her music, just like some of the biggest poets/musicians. I just want to know what a true Britney-directed era would look like. I care about this much more than charts. lana del rey is a good example of how sometimes charts don't matter and aren't really reflective of the musical impact of an artist.

Yeah, same day as BLACKPINK if this is true, but I mentioned in another thread they have yet to have a top 10 in the US or UK, they're definitely more of an 'albums sales' artist and they also do a lot better on social media (I can guarantee Pink Venom's music video will reach over 100m views very quickly and the song will lap up Spotify streams, but that doesn't necessarily mean it will become a top 10 hit)
