It’s a shame what happened to Kim. I always hoped for a great comeback after Naked Truth, but it just never happened. It was all mixtapes rapping over other artists popular songs and the odd autotuned half rap, half singing single that rightly went nowhere.

I mean not many female rappers were scoring huge hits around the time Lil Kim was at her peak and she hasn’t put out music for a while. Would the ppl there know any Trina, Da Brat, Remy Ma, or any song by Salt N Pepa besides push it? Probably not. Missy Elliot is probably the only one from that era that would really have many songs younger ppl would know today. And that’s partly because she still had a lot of hits it the 2000s they heard as kids. Also will people know Doja Cat songs in 30 years? I mean maybe, I don’t know what her career will be like. Buy honestly I only really know about 5 songs by her very well, I mean I don’t even like Say So that much, I just know it because it was a pretty big hit a couple years ago. I don’t know how well I’ll remember it in 5 years even.
