I love Britney btw so dont take this as me saying Beyoncé is better than any of them. I just think they all haven’t had real  “hits” in 5-10 years, including Beyoncé. It doesn’t take away from the legacy or timelessness of their songs or how much they influence the current generations. Beyoncé is considered a queen of music because she’s innovative, can dance, and has maintained support from her fans while continuing to put out albums REGULARLY. Same with Britney too as shown by the Free Britney movement, and Mariah with the annual success and airplay her Christmas songs get. Just because Beyoncé is choosing to perform at the Oscars and so Coachella and create more albums doesn’t mean we have to discredit how impressive her commercial and critical success is. 
 

 

Those arent her peers. And they all had hits after 40. Which Bey just turned. Even Jennifer Lopez who is more of her peer musically has had multiple hits after turning 40. I don't see how anyone could compare Britney to her anymore. Britney has been checked out musically since 2008 Beyonces peak.

I know they aren’t her peers but I was just bringing them up because they are referred to as rock stars(??) queens of musical genres, or icons. 

Btw The way Britney had most of her #1s in 2011 and 12. I wouldn’t say that’s at all checking out at 2008. Just because the white gays (not us hdjdjdjdjd)  die about Sasha Fierce also doesn’t mean that that was her peak. Beyoncé lowkey  has continued to refine her craft reaching an ultimate peak around the coachella performance tbh. People died about it

Britney did have a lot of hits after 08, but she wasnt trying nearly as much as Bey to push and promote herself.  I say Bey peaked to the general public in 08/09. I feel like after that she just kind of gets residual recognition the way older artist get from just hearing their names for so many years. Most people couldnt really tell you anything about her. But thats my opinion.

I can't speak for everyone, but I use to be a big Beyonce fan until I started to see her for what she really is. It's been a big turn off when you find out the artist you love isnt that nice of a person and does morally corrupt things to maintain their fame. And the fanbases reflect it.

She is super-sweet IRL , she always went out of her way for me.

As for "No more hits" comments , look at the Urban/R&B charts, still the biggest thing on R&B radio , next to MJ (and no one is going to ever surpass him in yearly airplay , if it hasn't happened by now)
