The fact that they were and still are the only Russian group/artists that really made it abroad, especially on such big scale, is so iconic. No other artist/group from there ever made it so far. The only group that came close and became big in Asia was “VIA GRA” or “NU VIRGOS”. They had a very successful Asian tour, had their album released by Sony Music Japan, their songs were getting covered by other Asian pop singers etc. Not to mention, their fame in Russia/Ukraine has skyrocketed at that moment. All of their singled would become instant hits. However their producer eventually ****ed it all up and after the pregnancy of the main singer, he did not allow her to come back, replaced her, but all their plans to embark on the foreign market went left. The original line up eventually broke up, but to this day is considered to be the “Golden lineup”. The group still exists, however after the frequent lineup changes, their popularity is nowhere near what it used to be in the beginning of 2000’s.

Attention or not, the music is amazing, it wouldn't be as great as it is if the music was bad, it still lives in our little hearts

Isn't one of them a great supporter of Putin? I don't think the world want anything to do with Russia atm. I am not excited about that come back at all and I hope it flops before it even starts.
