I honestly don’t understand the hate for reboots and further seasons/movies. It takes nothing away from the show/movie we love. It’s just something extra, like a side of fries with a great burger. The burgers still gonna taste good regardless of how good or bad the fries are.

What more is there left to say? The show ended things so perfectly and the films were pointless and painful. 

Also, the leaked SATC 3 plot sounded awful and let’s hope they aren’t taking the same route.

 

That being said, I would of been more interested in seeing a reunion with the cast looking over the show (like the the Fresh Prince). Hearing about them talk about the certain plots and what they would do differently today would of been amazing.

SJP is probably butthurt that the most beloved character was Samantha, and not Carrie. I bet Kim knew this and demanded an absurd amount of money to do it again. After negotiations went south it probably led to the public feuding that we see.

I think the fans deserve another installment. It was wildly successful, a mostly female cast, most of the cast members want to do it again # there's a demand for it. I'm just curious if Samantha will be replaced with another actress, or written off the show.

There was a great suggestion that Sharon Stone could replace her. But Kim said in an interview she would love to see some diversity in the cast and maybe have a black actress take over Samantha.

Why is everyone saying they're being disrespectful to Kim Cattrall? They've tried to get her to participate. I honestly think Kim Cattrall is being disrespectful of fans by skipping it over her personal vendetta agaist SJP. 

 

I actually dreamed that they had Vivica A Fox play the role of Samantha in all future content. I think she'd be absolutely perfect for the role.

They should leave Sam out of it with a little back story like "her cancer came back and she is in treatment" or something like "she left NYC with her man and lives in California now". I don't want another actress to play Sam. It wouldn't be the same.

Since Samantha had cancer I bet she’ll have passed & it’ll be the girls coming to terms with that.

LOVED Samantha’s character but I became so over Kim Catrall’s holier than thou attitude toward that dispute that I couldn’t care less about her character anymore. Kill her off. Kim’s last TV project was canned after 1 or two episodes & she’s to proud to reprise her role? Nobody said she had to be friends with SJP at all. It’s called being a professional. Move on & leave the bull**** in the past & don’t let it stand in the way of your craft. She deserves every bit of the curse of not finding work after a successful series.

I think they should reboot it but not with young talent but women there late 30s/early 40s actually. 

Mayb throw in a step daughter whose in her 20s that can kinda fit in the cast.
