That’s really surprising considering her fandom in the UK she was/is massive here. She’s always had a huge UK market. She came to my hometown of Glasgow with the OHT and POM but she never came with any of her other tours...

Also whilst i loved the choreography of this tour and i loved all the music, i have a special place thats above this for Onyx Hotel Tour since thats the concert i saw her at.

Britney was brutal, her best tour ever in fact Beyonce and her team took notes from this tour, and bravo to Wade and Kevin who did an exceptional job by themselves.

I live in Las Vegas and I feel so lucky and blessed to have seen Britney on every tour including the taped Dream Within a Dream tour Live from Las Vegas. I remember being a kid and making my parents drive me several times down to the Strip just to see Britneys iconic image as Elvis hanging off the side of MGM Grand Casino. That was truly a site to see. As soon as the concert was over we went home and watched it again since we taped it on HBO. I was even lucky enough to be filmed screaming and waving from the audience lol. Funny to look back and watch now lol.

She only did one date on the tour outside of North America, in Japan. I always thought she never went to Europe and most other countries outside of NA because of travel restrictions after 9/11.

This is my favorite tour. But something has always intrigued me.

what is the tea about “the Britney Tour” some of her merchandise from this tour actually says “The Britney Tour”. Was this the original name of the tour then it changed to Dream whitin’ a dream ? 
I have seen people saying that after some shows it became “dwd” but I have never found anything about it.

As late as October, the O-Town team referred to it as the "Britney/O-Town Tour" on an email their fans received:

The CrossRoads Tour (Tentative)
Mid April - May thru June - July 2002

The tour was originally planned for outdoor venues but Britney Spears MGMT has turned down the offer for outdoor venues and dates are being changed. The Tour will be in indoor arenas. The Tour will be close or near the same layout as the current, "Dream Within A Dream" Tour with More Special Effects.
Tour will travel 45-50 Cities. Such as Dallas, San Antonio, to name a few not visited on this current tour. But will reach the same venues reached in the DWAD Tour. The Tour will be tied into the new upcoming "CrossRoads" Movie starring Britney Spears. Opening Acts will alternate between Mandy Moore, LFO and Craig David. (Tentative)

This was the first time I saw Britney live and it was a night I’ll never forget. Me and my friend managed to sneak in our camera and record most of the concert. Yes, we had to sneak in a camera cause we weren’t allowed to record concerts back in the day.
