I’m sorry but her “handlers “ could step in.

I am very up to date what’s going on with  her , the (little) information we all have.
I am a fan.  Fans are allowed to be disappointed. And I am.
Britney  and  her handlers get no pass on this from me.

I think giving their history, they don’t give a crap about it. Everything is motivated by money so if they can’t profit off it then why waste the effort? They want to be in control of the narrative because despite this pandemic there is still a court hearing next month. Her team has bigger problems to deal with than worrying about doing PR.

Her team gets no pass but I think it’s unfair to put that on her. That’s how she was early in her career, a pleaser and look where that got her? You can see she’s burnt out, she’s not a machine. I mean, no body asked for Gal Gadot to sing imagine yet she did it anyways and got slammed for it.

I’m sorry but she still gets no  pass from me. She may  be suffering  from mental issues....   but  at the end of the day , she still has a heart.

Correct me if I’m wrong, but Britney doesn’t have to do anything amidst a pandemic. She is doing her for the first time in her career so leave her out of it :schoolingtime:
There’s probably tonnes of people who could “do more”, but it isn’t their obligation.
Britney has her own problems, and yes they are a valid reason to keep to herself. Also, she doesn’t even control her fortune so what is she going to do? It’s none of our business what she’s going through, and a global pandemic does not rest squarely upon her shoulders.

Don’t come on here and say you’re not going to argue it with anyone. You put out your opinion on a public forum to invoke a discussion, be prepared for people to disagree with you. Especially based only on the fact that she’s a rich celeb so she should help. Get a grip :bedtime:

While not an obligation, I do agree that celebrities should be trying to help as much as possible. No one needs as much wealth as these people have even if they've technically earned it themselves. However, neither do I want to, nor do I think it's fair to hold a stranger accountable for something like this. Britney has done a lot of good in her life. Like... I just don't care enough about other people and what they should or shouldn't be doing. At least from an accountability standpoint. It's definitely a 'get over yourself' moment. :tired:

I'm sorry but why is the tone like it's imperative for Britney Spears to help in this time of need? :idkney:

Helping people and donating to the needy should never be imposed on anyone regardless of their high social status or ginormous net worth. It should always come from the heart. Furthermore, everyone can help. Even the middle class citizens because kindness is free. If there are people who care so much for the needy, then I implore you to do somethin'. I'm not defending Britney Spears and her millionzzz but I'm just saying, it is unfair for anyone to crucify her for not doing something. Why you lookin' at her like she's some kinda freak for not helping and like she got what you need (money)? Why don't you do somethin'?

She may or may not have done something (yet or ever) for this pandemic, but I believe she has had over 3 decades of sharing kindness and spreading love and joy to the world and helping the needy with various foundations she has supported in the past as well as her own foundation. That is far more valuable than any price tag or check that she (or her team) can issue at this moment.

Like, I hate to sound like a fan wearing rose colored glasses but I am just saying, why HER. She already has so much going on in her life and in her own mind and in her heart (in a way that COVID-19 affected people are going through the same thing) so it's kind of like a tie you know. I'm happy that she is just staying at home minding her own business and being the unproblematic legend that she is. She is just doing her and focusing on her and doing yoga and keeping herself fit and busy and distracting herself from her already hard life instead of going online and being problematic - like Vanessa Hudgens. She may have her millions but we do not know if she is just as miserable as those who are suffering the effects of this pandemic. She is and has always been as lonely as all of us. And as a fan, you should know better.

I understand where you are coming from but like Britney has done loads of good things in her life without even asking for any acknowledgement.

Look at how this article praises Britney for not doing what celebrities are doing.

OH MY GOD THIS ARTICLE IS SO GOOD. :gobaby:

Literally one of the best written pieces about Britney Spears I have eeever read. Better than my term papers if you ask me - and mine's like full of bias. LOL It's so... just read it fam. :sobbing:

That just added an extra layer of loyalty and allegiance and love and respect (not that I need more of it) for our fave. :crying1:

Britney do not have financial freedom and she can't decide who to help. So saying she can help and do more is simply ignorant. Have u heard about financial cship she is been under for 12 years?

also any1 realises that rich ppl do not get richer in this time of global crisis. they also sit at home and spend money.  so some of them r helping and others not. that is fine. u can not tell them help every1. just be thankful for that they doing right now.

I was shocked too and it’s a major art magazine so for them to give Britney props like that for NOT acting like a celebrity. I was like FINALLY someone gets it.

Fair enough,  but where is her team during this pandemic?  You got to admit that Britney/ her Team could be doing so  much more.
I am fully aware of the challenge she took  on with Jamie Lynn......
but couldn’t  she/ her father/ handlers  donate more then just diapers, food  and formula? Is that asking too much?
If I had  her kind of wealth and star power , I would want to help.
People are sick and are dying.
Am I so wrong ?

People are fed up about celebrities being the poster child for everything happening in this world. They should be quite for a minut, stay home, and let the real people come together.
If they want to volunteer for a soup kitchen, go ahead, they can do something for the people in their neighborhood.

It really is so thoughtful of them. :crying1:

It gave me goosebumps cause they really went in on the praising and hyping to the point of, it got me thinking like ok are they delusional or am I hallucinating cause what is this piece :lostney:

It's just so crazy good. :sobbing:
