Nobody expected a speech they expected respect like knowing where you are and what it means to be invited to perform at a record breaking pride event. Yes Britney pushed sales but surely that should make you more delighted to be there?

Well... she can at some cities, but she wouldn't sell them completely.

Brighton Pride has a context and it's not a normal concert, it takes place at pride week and the city is so crowded and everyone is willing to have fun and go to shows.

I'm not saying it's not impressive and it's a milestone, but I don't think this particular concert proves she can sell stadiums like Taylor or beyoncé or Drake or whatever.

She does well in Europe and Asia because she never goes there.

But she had trouble even filling up The Axis with a sold out crowd, and they only hold like 6,000 people.

 

Anyway, Brighton Pride had 300,000 people in the parade, so it’s not surprising

Totally agree with everything you say here! You're right that it's Britney's choices that are a massive problem, I think a lot of people still think of her as a victim who has all her problems forced on her but the truth is she chooses to be this sub par performer!

She could if her tickets were as cheap as Taylor's and if her audience were mostly kids that go with their parents and also giving away free tickets
