Pharrell Williams & Miley Cyrus - 'Doctor (Work it Out)' video out now
Lolai replied to Fita's topic in Music News
Miley got rythm. Miley and Pharell's song is an obvious homage Tina Turner. Tina Turner is iconic for these kind of dresses and emotional movements when she performs. Britney is messy in her improvisations. Miley gets the reference and does it with glamour. It's artsy fartsy and precise. Look it up. -
I was just about to write the same. Her kids never sought celebrity. I find it very uncomfortable when people here trash their dad. No one has a perfect upbringing. They both seem like nice and well-adjusted persons. Speculating about their relationship with their father and Britney is extremely disgusting. I wish there was a "don't mention her kids"-rule on this forum.

Smoking and nicotine is a great and perscription free anxiety medicine in my opinion. We all know Britney has done a lot of different *****. Why is her smoking habbit worth a thread? I think acid and mdma is great also. Very interesting research going on about microdosing for depression. Crack Is Wack though.

Britney Spears shares new Instagram video dancing to "The Hook Up" 💃🏼
Lolai replied to Style.'s topic in Britney Community
Yay, good girl Brit-Brit got good taste of her discography. My favourite beautiful Bermuda Triangle of seks is: 1. Get Naked 2. The Hook up 3. How I Roll (Yesyes blah blah, Femme Fatale, conservatorship-album. Blah blah. I witnessed Björk DJing at an underground gay party in Berlin, she played "Downtown where my posse's at". Techno gays freaked out in a good way.) -

How do the Grammy Awards work and why are they so controversial? WWW.THENATIONALNEWS.COM As a number of big-name artists hit out at this year's nominations, we look into the voting process Who Chooses Grammy Winners? The Voting Process Is Pretty Democratic WWW.BUSTLE.COM With the Grammy Awards right around the corner, you're probably up-to-date on the nominees and have engaged in a few healthy debates over who will come away with the most... How do the Grammy Awards work and why are they so controversial? WWW.THENATIONALNEWS.COM As a number of big-name artists hit out at this year's nominations, we look into the voting process It is not so complicated. It works more or less the same as the Academy Awards. Peers voting for peers. A proccess like that can also lead to controversies. Just as in Andrea Riseborough's nominee for best actress. The Controversy Over Andrea Riseborough’s Oscar Nomination TIME.COM Riseborough’s nomination prompted extra scrutiny from the Academy over whether her grassroots campaign broke any rules We all know the stunning Michelle Yeoh is gonna get the big win. But maybe Ana de Armas and Andrea Riseborough took away Danielle Deadwyler chance of getting nominated. There was also the big Golden Globes scandal: The Golden Globes, Hollywood’s most chaotic awards, have returned WWW.VOX.COM These days, the chaos is way more than the open bar. Netflix's 'Emily in Paris' 2021 Golden Globes Controversy Explained WWW.COSMOPOLITAN.COM Let’s get into it. So no, just no. There is no way Beyoncé can just buy a nominee or an award. It does not work like that. If it was, the press would investigate like they did with the Golden Globes and the Andrea Riseborough case.

I was simply stating that I found the critique of Beyoncé has racist undertones on this forum. I did not call anyone a rascist. This thread got closed because of "the unhinged Beyst fans are now spouting “racism”. I live in 2023 and did not know it was even possible to "spout" or be "unhinged" about rascism. I don't even know what a beehive is. I am a member of a Britney Spears fan forum. The last song of Beyoncé I listened to was "drunk in love". Why is a thread closed because of that? I don't think the discussion would go out of control at all; my comment was well-written, thought through and understandable. Bringing up the term racism should not make a thread be closed. There should be space to have a somewhat intellectual discussion even on a pop-forum. You all know that Beyoncé gets waaaay more **** on this forum than Taylor Swift for example. It is a fact. You can all tell. I want to correct something when I see wrong. I just called it like it is. I see a lot of bigotry in this fan group.

I can't anymore. This conspiracy about Beyonce's Grammy wins are frankly bigoted and racist. It does not matter if her dad sat in some sort of committee. The Grammys work like the Academy Awards. Peers vote for peers. Get over it! A hardworking woman of colour is well liked, popular, makes good relevant music. She wins and deserves awards. Get a grip. I agree that Blackout was highly overlooked durning its time. But come on, she deserves a Grammy nom for Work Work or Glory?
