I can’t feel sympathy for this man for what he did to Britney. It sucks that he’s in poor health and that he lost his leg, but it just doesn’t take away from the fact that he was a piss poor excuse of a father.

I mean he had her locked away in a facility for 3 months against her will and forced her to take lithium out of no where when there was nothing wrong with her all because she said no to one dance move.

He kept her in a 15 year long prison sentence for what? Shaving her head? Like wtf? She wasn’t a danger to herself, the media/paps were the danger and he and everyone apart of Team Con had their hands in that.

All that **** that was reported on back in the day wasn’t even bad, false, or wasn’t her fault. Running over a pap’s foot? He shouldn’t have been that close to a moving vehicle to start with. If he wasn’t trying to get the money shot of her on an off day, his foot wouldn’t have been ran over. That’s his own damn fault.

Britney had her first top 3 hit since BOMT on the BB Hot 100, a number 2 album on the BB 200 and it would’ve her fifth consecutive number one if it wasn’t for that stupid rule change. She executive produced album for the first time that has gotten a lot of praise and has inspired a lot of artists since and the only album of her’s that has been inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall Of Fame Archives. I think despite what was going on personally, she was doing pretty damn well for herself.

Britney would’ve been extraordinary if that man and the rest of those leeches wouldn’t have cut her down and locked her in a cage. She was finally putting her full artistic input into her career and they took that away from her.

I mean look at what followed? A rushed album and tour, a lifeless album with live appearances that made people question if she was drugged up, and an album that she was barely even on. Forget the hits that the first two albums of The Con produced.

The only two things good or iconic career wise that came out of that conservatorship was Piece of Me in Las Vegas because now everyone is doing a residency in Vegas, and Glory because she actually felt that creative spark again while making it and you could definitely tell in her appearance that she was starting to feel herself again.

If she had been treated as a human being with thoughts and feelings instead of the family cash cow, we probably wouldn’t have had Circus, Femme Fatale, and especially the garbage that is Britney Jean. We would’ve had a lot more better stuff because her heart would’ve been in it and she would’ve had the freedom to take risks and try new things.

Btw I’m not saying I hate these albums, except Britney Jean, but I just recognize the fact that if Britney had the freedom to be a human being, call the shots, and do whatever she wanted when she wanted, she would’ve been amazing.

Sorry for the long rant, but I just despise that man for what he did and what could’ve been. In an alternate universe, Britney would’ve had a lot better career successes while being healthy and having a family of her own because she would’ve been the main driving force behind it, no one else.

I think a good analogy to use for what happened to her between 2008 and now is that she rose from the ashes like a phoenix, but she was still chained to the ground and wasn’t being able to fly high into the clouds like she should’ve been after all that she went through.

That really is too bad. He's actually pretty young to be dealing with that kind of new disability, both young and too old, if that makes sense.

Kind of weird in light of this to think of Jamie Lynn and Lynn out flitting around the country. Says it all about that family. It also makes it even more baffling that none of them will help out Britney, and in his case, he's actively obstructing her. I mean, they're defending a man's actions against a sister and daughter whose good graces they're desperately trying to get back into , and they won't even help him out for a few days in his lowest moments.

I would never normally be like this, but that man is pure evil. He is getting everything he deserves for what he did to Britney. He took away so much of her life so he could control her and use her, and then abused her. He deserves everything he gets for what he did to her.

I'm not here to feel sorry for him but I do often wonder with people who have addiction struggles, I feel like his life before Britney may have been tough. We don't know what he's gone through before Britney.

I agree all these people talking about karma need to look at their own comments and the evilness they seem to be conveying about this situation!

Justice for Brit is about her abusers going to jail and them being held accountable for any wrong doings!

First he lost his leg because he is an alcoholic! It was his choice.. there was no car accident kind of thing as I remember.. so he chose alcohol over his leg and why should other feel sorry if he doesn’t..

Everyone here seems like God judging. There is nothing to celebrate about having a leg amputated. I am sorry for him and I am very sorry that his last years on earth were like this, being an as**** for his daughter and with one less leg, incredible high fall from grace.
