Sending all the love to Britney during this time. Both her boys are celebrating birthdays, and Preston a milestone birthday obviously, and they’re thousands of miles away. While it is worth celebrating her child support payments being cut in half now, I know she’d rather have a relationship with her sons. I doubt she’s celebrating today. On top of trying to heal from the end of her marriage. The flashbacks to when she was pregnant with Preston just make me sad. The main thing she wanted in life was to be a mom. I sincerely hope her boys can mature, open their eyes to what happened to Britney, and make an effort to re-establish contact.

I remember when she had him. 

 

I feel so bad for Britney because I'm sure she knows its his birthday yet he refuses to speak to her.

Hopefully one day he will see that Britney gave up her youth and freedom to have him and his brother in her life.

No mother would do that if they didn't love them.

I really hope they repair their relationship especially since he is now an adult and can have the freedom to talk to her.

Yes! Unless Preston is still in high school, then it runs until he's 19. But support ends when the child turns 18. The only reason it would continue past that is if she was behind in her payments, and obviously that's not the case.

I've even heard of rich parents creating a trust fund for their kids to get at like 35 years old. Once they really get into adulthood and try to force them to earn a living and a life for themself.. This may not be a bad idea regarding these damn selfish bratty kids of hers tbh..

Perhaps, that’s precisely the point. You’re still a du***** until the age of 23-24 and then some people have not even matured before they 28-29. 
 

18 years old are adults on paper but still pretty much children.
