Britney talks to People about 2001 Pepsi commercial - Pepsi 125th anniversary, REMASTERED version of the commercial

To celebrate the 125th anniversary of Pepsi, MTV is airing a newly-edited version of Britney's iconic 2001 ad during the VMAs on September 12th. People mag has a quote from Britney about it:

“It’s exciting to see Pepsi celebrating our 'Joy Of Cola' spot as part of the 125th anniversary celebrations. This was such an iconic music video-styled spot that we shot 20 years ago, and [it] still resonates so much with fans."

She adds: "[I'm] excited to watch the spot re-air during the VMAs next week!”

Anyway, yaayy!! I mean Pepsi and Britney definitly have a strong relation, and I think it's great that Britney is making these small and subtle interviews officially. It kinda feels like she's starting to work.

I hope maybe they work together again. Just a short acapella of the ba babba ba would be iconic.

The commercial may serve more as a nostalgic tribute rather than a direct source of income for the artist.

I love this commercial, and there was so much controversy around it. Hard to believe that it was banned because people thought it was too S3xy.. it rather tame for these days, the full ad Is iconic.
