First of all, it's doing well by Will.i.am standards if one looks at his more recent songs. Secondly, it would've done better 1). if Britney promoted and 2). if it was as good as HMC (opinions vary; I'm just saying that, IMO, people seem to think HMC is better).

First of all the song is just plain bad. Also zero promo or a music video to help generate buzz. None of my friends even knew the song had been released.

but it shouldnt have been released in this format...the cover and promo could have saved it, but that didnt happen

It sounds dated and nobody is really checking for will.i.am anymore. Britney doesn't promote her music either. This single is being treated the same way as Tom's Diner. It still has a chance to rebound.
