Were we too harsh on Private Show?

This song needed a sensual voice and she gave chipmunk on speed

I wish she would have sang work, work, boy watch me work, slide down my pole watch me spin and twerk.  The additional work it and twerk it sounds so unnatural.  This would make it a decent song to me.

Just like the censored Work Work, only one Work was needed and it would have slayed.

Private show and What you need are both great songs and they are exactly what I was missing in Britney's catalouge afters FF and BJ...

You are of course entitled to have your opinion so I will not be disrespectful but I kinda feel that you need to be musically talented or have a soul or be a black to apreciate these two songs....

I've seen a lot of reactions on YouTube and everyone LOVES Private show...

Clumsy or Hard to forget ya on the other hand should not be on the album in my opinion... Unnecessary songs in my opinion...

PS: Have you seen Britney's bathroom singing videos on her Instagram? Her voice very similar to the voice on Private show or What you need, so I don't get the hate on her voice, cause she sure used her technique and did it the way she wanted. Remember she can do both low and high!

Private Show is just misunderstood. It should be placed into the “Weirdney” category with How I Roll, Mmm Papi & Over to You Now. All of which are strange, wonderful & experimental as heck.

I Love her vocal performance. I think this song is so different from what she has done before. I enjoy it. I like how she sings in What You Need and Clumsy. Glory is a smash

I like the fact that is much more vocal than anything she's done in years but it is not a good song and the production is awful

My problem with Private Show is how her voice sounds sometimes. It's way too loud and unpolished. I also find the song a bit boring as the instrumental is the same throughout the whole song. I must admit, tho, that when I can't skip it (because I'm in the shower or whatever), I sing along to it. It's not a horrible song, it's just that it could be much better.
