In the past, people with an identity crisis went to therapy, today they promote what they once treated. What's next? p*******a will be declared an orientation? Why don't we open our hearts and minds to these people? Understand them too. And people who practice s** with animals. Open your heart and mind for them too. For men with wigs who use the same toilet as your daughter, wife, mother, sister. You must understand them or you are doomed.

I'm sorry, but this is so stupid and disgusting. :parisok_hilton_chewing_gum_pink_phone_Reading:

You don't get it.

I think the best way to explain this to people is to think of inter*** people. These are people born with both male and female genitalia. They are neither male nor female biologically, however they almost always identify very strongly as female or male. It shows you how biological s** and mental gender identity are two separate things, and it has nothing to do with gender roles as you can identify as woman and be very "masculine" or identity as male and be very "feminine". Now apply this to people born male or female biologically and perhaps you will understand that some of those have a different mental gender and it has nothing to do with feminine or masculine traits.

Your example is literally about less than 1% of the population. Which in science is not valid. I am on the left (however leaning towards middle) but Starr has a point.

Why are we policing what people say. Identify as whatever you want, I don't think anyone actually cares, but why are we trying to force these ideologies on other people who are just living regular lives?

I don't care what you identify as, live your life. Nobody in Europe or Asia or even the middle east deals with this nonsense. Turkey just had an earthquake, do you think they care about the genders of the people that died?

Let's all just move past this, this whole topic is about dividing people, that's all this discussion does, it's no longer about acceptance and tolerance, that was gone along time ago. Now it's just shaming and negativity.

And the LGBTQ+ community (which I am apart of) is partly responsible for the division. We went wayyyyyyy to far. Let's move on and stop policing everyone's words/actions.

Science and psychology suggest that non-binary identities are a legitimate and important aspect of human diversity.

Research has shown that gender identity is not solely determined by biological s** or anatomy, but is influenced by a complex interplay of biological, environmental, and social factors. For example, studies have found that the size and structure of certain brain regions may be associated with gender identity, but these factors do not always align with biological s**.

This is not true. Non-binary identities and other "gender" conditions are still classified as gender dysphoria (or gender identity disorder).

This is in the DSM which is the defining literature for psychological complexities. Non-binary people and people with gender dysphoria make up less than 2% of the population.

So what’s the point of bringing this up? Because people within the population have “gender dysphoria” and make up a minority they should somehow be treated like ****?

I am a psychologist and I was responding to someone claiming a psychological fact, which is 100% not true.

And no.. of course, no one should be treated like ****. But I'm telling you, literally no one cares. The right doesn't care. the middle doesn't care, it's only the progressives making a big deal of this. Do you actually know the stats of people getting hate in this community? It's barley anything. They literally do not get treated like anything. There isn't enough people in this minority group to garner that much hate... it's nonsensical.

The Black community (for example) gets wayyyyy more hate on a daily basis.

This minority population can exist all they want. But lets get over forcing people to accept them. They are already accepted. Just like gays & lesbians are already accepted.

You’re a psychologist so therefore the amount of trauma that is felt by the trans and non binary communities are somehow less? You do recognize as a psychologist that you can be both Black, gay, and non binary as per intersecting identities. Even if there isn’t enough statistical evidence to interpret this, that is because the statistics have truly run on a primarily binary system this entire time up until this point. Additionally, I really would be careful with being dismissive of the hate and experiences endured by a population and say it’s “barely nothing”. I should also mind you I am a data and statistical analyst for a large department looking at various EE groups, so I want to point out that what you are saying this is simply not the case

This kind of behavior is not okay, and it shows a lack of understanding and empathy towards your fellow human beings.

Take a moment to think about your words and actions, and try to be more respectful and accepting of people who identify as non-binary. Everyone, regardless of their gender, deserves to be treated with respect and dignity. Acting otherwise goes against the very principles of being a decent human being.

I urge you to open your mind and heart, and try to understand and empathize with people who are different from you. Let's celebrate our diversity, and work towards a world where everyone feels valued and appreciated.

I also want to point out that it doesn't make sense to claim to be a follower of Christian teachings, yet still discriminate against and disrespect non-binary, transgender people. Christianity, at its core, preaches love, acceptance, and kindness towards all people, regardless of their gender identity.

Jesus himself taught to love our neighbors as ourselves, and to treat others as we would want to be treated. This means showing respect and kindness to people who may have different beliefs, lifestyles, or gender identities than our own.

So, I implore you to think about the message of Christianity and how it calls to love and respect all people, including those who identify as non-binary. It's important to strive towards living out these values in daily lives, and to treat everyone with the same dignity and respect that we would want for ourselves.

And I am entitled

to

my religious beliefs and what god commands of us . I don’t hate these people and I do not value them less as people . But I do NOT have to use they/them when I am speaking to someone . Someone’s personal feelings do not equal facts .
There is man and woman that is it . You either have a womb or you do not .you either have male dna or female dna . This isn’t a matter of my opinion these are facts . And I am sorry if science doesn’t do exist with feelings . Jesus teaches live absolutely. But it’s no where taught to accept sin . We are actjuslly told to run from it .

@Yuki is typing. The transphobic user that we all begged @Jordan Miller to ban several times over the years due to their dangerous rhetoric and attitudes towards people in this very community. @CrazyButItFeelsAllright @SlayOut  @GlitterRain this is interesting

I am not transphobic . Just because I don’t agree with some things or pro main placement does not mean I am transphobic nor do I wish any person whom is trans any ill will whatsoever

I'll play the devil's advocate and ask- what about all the women who have to have hysterectomies due to tumors, endometriosis, cancers.... That doesn't make them less of a woman. They just lost their wombs and ovaries due to unfortunate events.

You actually should respect people’s pronouns as per their own religious beliefs. The conception of non binary has been around for centuries if you look at hedjras in India being recognized as a third gender, and various Indingenous religions that honour and celebrate “two spirited” people. These belief systems continue to exist so for you to say that Jesus Christ is the all defender of morality and the truth, I’m sorry but you are using your interpretation of Abrahamic religion to limit the beliefs and livelihood of so many people.

Says the one asking for my ban and screaming “transphobic “ when I’m not .
