Why iusa was not her biggest circus era hit?

That song was scandalous at the time. This was before people would say and do virtually anything in their songs/music videos. Additionally, I believe she may have promoted it less than Womanizer and Circus.

Cause the radio edit of the song made the wider audiences not get it. And typically until ff the more she released singles from an album the less well they did.

Yeah, like everyone said, the censored version took away the fun of it and that's it, the song did not have sens anymore so... 

But I have firends who are not Britney fans who liked the song a lot and still play it, I think the song could have worked if they had promote it more than just the music video. With one or two performances it would have been bigger I think.

Well anyway, I love it and I'm glad we have it ! Such a cool fun song !

I hate that song so much lol It’s one of my least favorite Britney singles. The innuendo is cringe and the sing-songy melody is 🤢 Circus was the only good single off that album, which is too bad because so much of the album is amazing. 🥰

Well Primeney would promote and fight for the song. It's just that she's under conservatorship and fighting lot of fights behind the stage.

I remember the radio edit was atrocious so I'm sure that contributed to it.  I would have loved to see her promote it outside the Circus tour but oh well
