Of course we understand her situation as far as we can though. Doesn’t mean we can’t have an opinion about what she’s saying and how she says it… that’s what social media is all about. Stop saying ‘not a real fan’. Some us are not delusional.

It’s literally not your battle to have an opinion over. Literally who are you to Britney Spears? Nobody. Sit down and keep your selfish opinions to yourselves.

Cut out the 'not a real fan' bullish#t. We're all fans. People can have different opinions.

There is a difference in having different opinions and being downright nasty and ignorant toward trauma survivors. Nobody should be told how they should handle their own personal trauma, especially so called “fans.” Let the woman heal on her own terms. Those who don’t like it, or cannot have enough sympathy for a woman abused for 13 years, should move on; it is not reasonable for someone to just “move on,” as some fans have said, less than a year after the abuse ended. The healing process will take YEARS.

Sorry, fans that diminish her feelings or act like she needs to silence herself to get over this are not real fans. Sit down!

Stop acting like you're her best friend and know her oh so well whatever she needs. Cause you don't know her, she doesn't even know you exist.

People can have different opinions, if you don't like, leave this place.

And Britney is merely posting on her own social media. No one needs to go and look or listen if they have no interest. She is telling her truths and rediscovering herself on her own pages.

Plus Britney doesn't talk the events that much. When she does talk she mentions those 4 or 5 months at the end of the con probably for at least two reasons. The bulk of the Conservatorship talk is to be left for the book. The hospital stay is well known already b/c she talked about it in court.

But it seems also because she feels like people aren't understanding what being literally trapped felt like. Being forced into a chair and not able to move without permission for 4 mouths is like being interrogated for a crime seemly forever and never getting that lawyer. We have all seen shows/movies where people are forced to answer questions while images fly by their heads -trying to indoctrinate them. Well that is what Britney's life felt like. She lost even the most basic freedom of standing up and stretching when desired. The last bits of her freedom was taken away from her. And lets remember that Britney is a mover by trade, it's a need at this point. But her basic movement was limited to sitting in a chair. And people giving her meds and talking her blood against her will. People just aren't seeing what that was really like. They aren't see what that would be like in reality. They wave it off as nothing. Britney was not just imprisoned, she was kidnaped and held against her will for 4 months.

Remember that was on top of Britney already being prisoner for more than a decade. Literally. Plus being actually trafficked by her family and team during those imprisoned years. Which not only strapping her of her passion for performing and recording music it also created a situation where her kids grew up with thinking of her as a mentally ill lady who could be told on so they can get their own way. And she isn't free from that yet. Her children have went on tv and told the world what they think of Britney. To them she is still just that mentally ill woman in need of telling on.

And everything the boys suffered is in result of how Britney's life was taken over and shaped by People the boys still respect. They blame Britney but Britney has had little choice in becoming who she was in the conservatorship. And it's only now that she is trying to shape the real Britney. And she has to do that through layers and layers of trauma. Remember Britney already had years of trauma to push past since she was a high volume child performer. And even before the Conservatorship she was starting to realize that her "family and friends" were using her to pay for lifestyles that weren't their own. Then image having that done without her consent ordered by the California courts.

And Britney isn't just looking back. She has to live with the consequences to what they did to her relationship to her kids, to herself and to the public. She'll forever have to deal with consequences of the Conservatorship. She'll forever have to see images of herself created by people who just wanted to gets things out there with no artistic bone in their bodies. Maybe even trying to make her look bad to be able to keep being able to use her. Seeing all of that when she already has huge body issues being in the industry since a she was a young child.

It seems like the exact same thing can be said to you. You literally have nothing to do with her life so why you think you have the right to give your opinion about her choices and how she heals from her trauma is beyond me :clown_meme__makeup_green:

exactly, I actually really don't care how she deals with her trauma, she can do whatever she wants as long it helps her.

sorry but ppl should be free to voice their opinion. this whole "you should be ashamed" sounds like a cult or something. we just happen to admire the same singer, it's not a religion.

You can definitely voice your opinion. Telling a woman who has been trafficked, used and abused for over 13 years how she needs to heal and get over her trauma is not giving an opinion. It’s being disrespectful.

This. And the fact some “fans” are too ignorant to realize this baffles me. Telling someone how they should deal with their trauma is distasteful, disrespectful, and completely ignorant.

I understand expressing concern for someone, but the fans FOUGHT for Britney to be FREE from 13 years of control and abuse; the same fans telling Britney how she should live and heal from that trauma is the DEFINITION of hypocrisy.
