Anyone else wonder if the delay was in order to secure some official remixes for the single release? I know I’d LIVE for some upbeat remixes to accompany the song, which is ALLEGEDLY mid-tempo and, although trancy and magical, not super boppy. The geyz need bangerzzz.

It's a remake of a well known song, so that is probably why they know the lyrics. New lyrics weren't written.
