HIAM or at least TTWE was the best lead single choice Up and Down is to clubby and weird for a pilot single, I don’t think it would have landed too well with the GP. HIAM is unique and It was the perfect Boom to start the album campaign. It established that FF is a heavy dance record that adds a bit of weird, trendy, and gritty production. Love it!

I feel like hiam died off kinda quickly kinda like born this way. Ttwe and iwg although generic were the big hits that era. I think inside out and scary would’ve been good single choices.

I am always honest with these kind of threads and I completely agree it should have been a single. Would have charted high and radio at the time would have ate it up. A bop!

I think it’s so generic and basic.  By far my least favorite of the bonus tracks, and possibly least fav song off FF.  It sounds like it could be a Katy Perry song from Teenage Dream or something…but that means it probably would’ve done well lol.

It's an album filler type song. The chorus is weird with repeating down and up...

Like nobody dances by bobbing up and down.
