Judge Brenda Penny ordered Jamie Spears, who has controlled his daughter’s estate and other aspects of her personal life for 13 years, suspended as conservator effective on Wednesday.

“The current situation is not tenable,” Penny said at a courthouse hearing, adding that the current arrangement reflected a “toxic environment”.

if they're not already corrupted, but that's where the investigation comes in

they could've made it seem on paper that all the accounting reports were right, but then they'll have to cross check with sources of how much money did she really earn, from tours, sales, etc, how much they reported, how much was spent, and how much there is left in her account. Basically, where is the money, and if it's not, where it went, and why

3:17 PM PT -- Jamie Spears has been suspended as Britney's conservator and he must turn over all books and records associated with the conservatorship. The judge appointed CPA John Zabel as temporary conservator of the estate until December 31.

There was a fight over when to end the conservatorship. Jamie's lawyer asked to end it today, but Rosengart wanted it terminated in 30 to 45 days.

Rosengart made it clear ... he's not speaking for himself. He says Britney is begging to get her dad out of the conservatorship.
